About Piano Lessons

My name is Charley Wyser, and I am a Jazz Pianist, and Piano Teacher. I started playing piano in 1976, started teaching piano full-time in 1988, and have been playing professional Jazz Piano since 1981.

Over the years, I have taught thousands of people to play piano through my private lessons, piano instruction seminars, and my piano lesson home-study courses.

The number one thing I have learned is that you must move at a pace that people can follow and understand.

In my Piano Instruction, the focus is on how to present just the right amount of material, how to keep it simple, and how to present the material in a very logical manner.

This is a skill that can only be gained through the years of experience of teaching and watching lots of students in different settings and situations learn how to play piano.
